Great Britain 1936 florin
This specimen was lot 4390 in Goldberg sale 75 (Los Angeles, September 2013), where it sold for $115. The catalog description noted, "Great Britain. Florin, 1936. George V. Richly toned For a lowly currency coin this has spectacular eye appeal. NGC graded MS-66." This type was struck 1927-36 in substantial numbers; this date is common. It superseded a type struck 1911-26 with a different reverse (KM 817a).
