This specimen was lot 24187 in Heritage sale 3020 (Long Beach, September 2012), where it sold for $793.13. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V Proof Farthing 1936, PR64 RB NGC, fading orange-red color, smallest piece from the very rare Proof of Record, or Record Proof, set offered in our sale." This type was issued 1926-36 and this date is common tho proofs are rare.

Recorded mintage: 9,734,000 plus a few proofs.

Specification: bronze, 20 mm diameter.
