Great Britain 1934 farthing
This specimen was lot 23065 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $960. The catalog description noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Farthing, 1934. NGC PROOF-64 RD. Mirrored fields and slightly mellowed red color." All the bronze farthings of George V are basically similar with a slight modification of the kings bust in 1926 dividing KM 808.2 from the KM 825 shown here. This date is common in all grades tho the proofs are rare.
