This specimen was lot 2952 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Florin, 1922 Brilliant Unc. George V. Obverse Mackennal's portrait of king left. Reverse crowned cruciform shields. Bright uncirculated and a tough date to find. Brilliant Uncirculated." This type was struck in large numbers 1911-19, then reduced to .500 fine for 1920-26. A different reverse was used 1927-36.

Recorded mintage: 21,547,000, a common date.

Specification: 11.31 g, .500 fine silver, 28.3 mm diameter.
