This specimen was lot 23003 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Penny, 1874. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. Good strike with nice chocolate brown surfaces. From the Brighton Collection." This type was struck 1860-74 with a slightly modified obverse extending to 1894. Numerous varieties exist, some rare.

Recorded mintage: 1,348,000 (including KM 754), a better date.

Specification: 5.7 g, bronze.
