This specimen was lot 3170 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €26,000 (about US$33,587 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"VEREINIGTES KÖNIGREICH George I, 1714-1727. 5 Guineas 1726 (13. Regierungsjahr), London. GEORGIVS · D · G · M · BR · FR · ET · HIB · REX · F · D · Büste r. mit Lorbeerkranz//BRVN · - ET · L · DVX · - S · R · I · A · TH · - ET · EL · 17 - 26 Vier gekrönte Wappen ins Kreuz gestellt, in den Winkeln je ein Zepter, in der Mitte Kreuz in Strahlenkreis, oben die geteilte Jahreszahl · J7 - 26 ·. Mit Randschrift: DECVS · ET · TVTAMEN · ANNO REGNI · DECIMO · TERTIO. GOLD. RR Attraktives Exemplar, fast vorzüglich. (United Kingdom, George I, 1714-27, five guineas of 1726 (regnal year 13), London mint. Obverse: laureate bust to right; reverse: four crowned arms in a cross, scepters in the fields, date above; lettered edge. Rare, attractive, choice extremely fine.)"
This type was issued 1716-20 and 1726 and all dates are scarce. None of the British five guineas of the eighteenth century are cheap.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
