Great Britain 1705 half crown
This specimen was lot 2718 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description noted, "Great Britain. Halfcrown, 1705 NGC VF25. Queen Anne. Plumes in angles. Toned. NGC graded VF-25." Half crowns were minted for queen Anne 1703-14 and some of the later dates are fairly common in circulated condition. This subtype of 1704-05 is rather scarce. In 1706, two roses would substitute for two of the plumes on the reverse.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
