The catalog description noted, "GERMANY: Weimar Republic, AR 3 mark, 1929-J, 200th anniversary of Gotthold Lessing, PCGS graded Proof 63, ex Don Erickson Collection." This type, issued 1929, was struck in some numbers in Berlin ("A"), Munich ("D"), Muldenhutten ("E"), Stuttgart ("F"), Karlsrule ("G") and Hamburg ("J", shown here). It is among the more available of the Weimar commemoratives.
