This specimen was lot 2418 in Goldberg sale 81 (Los Angeles, September 2014), where it sold for $317.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italian States - Genoa. Scudo, 1665-AB. Cross with stars in angles. Reverse: Virgin and child on cloud. NGC graded VF-30." The republic of Genoa simultaneously struck scudi stretti, scudi largi and double scudi, which weighed 76 grams! Altho this type was struck without change from 1637 to 1725, it does not turn up often.
