This specimen was lot 719 in Jean Elsen list 265 (Brussels, July-September 2013) where it was offered for €500 (about US$660 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ALLEMAGNE, FULDA, Evêché, Adalbert III von Harstall (1788-1802), AR Taler, 1795, Droit: B. à droite. Revers: Inscription en quatre lignes entre un rameau et une palme. Superbe. (bishopric of Fulda, Adalbert III of Harstall (1788-1802), silver thaler of 1795. Obverse: bust right; reverse: four line inscription between a laurel and palm branch. Extremely fine.)"
This type is somewhat scarce. All of the ecclesiastical states were mediatized by Napoleon and handed over to his allies in 1800-06.
