Sincona sale 51, lot 3544
This specimen was lot 3544 in Sincona sale 51 (Zurich, October 2018), where it sold for 1,500 CHF (about US$1,809 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Französisch Indochina, 50 Cent 1895 A, Paris. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. FDC. Winz. Randfhler. (French Indochina, fifty cent of 1895, Paris mint. Cabinet piece. Brilliant uncirculated, Minor edge nick.)"
This type was struck 1885, 1889, 1894-95. Later issues were of reduced weight.

Recorded mintage: 100,000.

Specification: 13.60 g, .900 fine silver, this specimen 13.61 g.
