Sincona sale 11, lot 872
This specimen was lot 872 in Sincona sale 11 (Zurich, May 2013), where it sold for 475 CHF (about US$588 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Frankfurt am Main, Stadt Doppelgulden 1845. NGC MS65. FDC. (Germany, city of Frankfurt, double gulden of 1845, uncirculated.)"
This type was issued 1845-56 in considerable numbers but is somewhat scarce. It was accompanied by a half gulden and one gulden.

Recorded mintage: 114,496.

Specification: 21.21 g, .900 fine silver.
