"Frankfurt, Stadt, Heller 1774. Probe in Silber. Sehr selten. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. FDC. Herrliche Patina. (Germany, city of Frankfurt, heller of 1774, silver pattern. Very rare, Cabinet piece, Brilliant uncirculated, Most attractive patina.)"After completely neglecting the denomination for most of the eighteenth century, the mint at Frankfurt busrt into activity and minted hellers 1767, 1773-74, 1782, 1786-1800. This may be a silver pattern for an issue intended to be billon. Later types were copper.
