This specimen was lot 2096 in Sincona sale 43 (Zurich, October 2017), where it sold for 17,000 CHF (about US$20,286 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Frankfurt, Stadt, Taler 1695. Titel Leopold I. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast FDC. Prachtexemplar. (Germany, city of Frankfurt, thaler of 1695, struck in the name of Leopold I. Very rare in this condition, About uncirculated, Most attractive piece.)"
This type was struck 1695-96 and is very rare.
