This issue, from the Paris mint, is a common issue of a type struck AN 12-14. A complete set of this type comprises 39 date and mintmark combinations, some very rare. In 1806 the French revolutionary calendar was dropped and normal AD dating resumed. An overdate, 13/2, is recorded.

Specification: 23 mm diameter, 5 grams, .900 fine silver, decorated edge. Designed by Pierre Joseph Tiolier, 1763-1819.

Recorded Mintage: 2,452,806.
