Louis XVI (1774-93). NGC AU-55. An EXTREMELY RARE type and even rarer than the 24 Livres we are offering in this sale. The last gold coin to bear the bust of soon-to-be guillotined Louis XVI. Quite good eye appeal, highly desirable and another great prize for the advanced collector."
