France 1761-A 1/10 ecu
This coin, called a 1/10 écu au bandeau, was the French equivalent of a dime. In the coinage system of the ancien régime, the 1/10 écu = 12 sols. The type was struck 1740-71 and is recorded for the Paris mint ("A") for most of those years. This issue is from Paris (mintmark "A") and is priced as common.
