This coin is an "écu aux branches d'olivier" from the Rennes mint. Note the die break which makes the French king appear to be spitting tobacco. Most Rennes mint issues are common and this one is no exception.

Recorded mintage: 415,830.

Specification: 29.49 g, .917 fine silver, 39-41 mm diameter, edge lettered, DOMINE SALVUM FAC REGEM.
