This specimen was lot 1162 in Jean Elsen sale 113 (Brussels, June 2012) where it sold for € 320 (about $479 including buyer's fee). The catalog description[2] noted,
"VLAANDEREN, Graafschap, Filips II (1555-1598), AR Bourgondische rijksdaalder, 1568, Brugge. Droit : Vuurijzer op stokkenkruis. Revers : Gekroond wapenschild omringd door de keten van het Gulden Vlies. Mooie patina. Zeer Fraai à Prachtig. (County of Flanders, Philip II of Spain, 1555-98, Bruges mint. Obverse: Burgundian cross; reverse: crowned arms, Order of the Golden Fleece around. Nice patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"
The hand below the king's bust on the obverse is the Antwerp mintmark.
