This specimen was lot 39294 in Stack's Bowers Winter sale (Baltimore, November 2015), where it sold for $998.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY. Sicily. 2 Grani, 1814-VB. NGC MS-63 BN. KM-249; Craig-44. Highest graded and the only specimen seen at the grading services. Medieval looking portrait with full details struck-up, the reverse features a gallant Pegasus galloping left with denomination below. Nothing listed in Krause above EXTREMELY-FINE for the two-year type, the survival of such a minor in this condition is simply astonishing."
