This specimen was lot 7071 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $763.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "PERU. Real, 1835/3-MM. Lima Mint. NGC FINE-15. KM-145.1. VERY RARE so much so that Krause reports the existence of this overdate as "Reported not confirmed". Soft central strike as is often seen on these early Republic issues with the noted wear not as severe as might be assumed. Folds of drapery and full inscription on shield are visible. Overdate is clear and bold. Deep old toning pervading through most of the surfaces with no detracting marks or issues. Well worth a closer look to interested parties."
