The specimen shown is from a type struck 2005-10. It features a bust of General Mella on the reverse. Production of fractional coinage was suspended in 1991 but one, five, ten and twenty-five peso coins still appear.

Specification: 8.2 g, Brass center in Cu-Ni ring, 27 mm diameter.
