Deventer, Kampen and Zwolle in 1648
This specimen was lot 716 in Aureo sale 269 (Barcelona, July 2015), where it sold for €450 (about US$582 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"1583. Países Bajos. Rodolfo. Deventer, Campen y Zwolle. 1 taler. AG. Escasa. EBC-. (Low Countries, emperor Rudolf, cities of Deventer, Kampen and Zwolle, daalder of 1583, scarce, about extremely fine.)"
The towns of Deventer, Kampen and Zwolle are in central Overijssel and banded together in the mid-sixteenth century to issue coinage. This type is listed for 1577-88.
