This specimen was lot 2834 in Sincona sale 26 (Zurich, October 2015), where it sold for 5,250 CHF (about US$6,485 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Schleswig-Holstein, Herzogtum, Königlich dänischer Anteil, Christian VII., 1766-1808 Speciestaler 1769. Rethwisch Münzmeister Hans Schierven Knoph. Von grosser Seltenheit, nur 51 Exemplare geprägt. Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich. Kl. Schrötlingsfehler (duchy of Schleswig-Holstein, under Danish rule, Christian VII, 1766-1808, specie daler of 1769. Of the highest rarity, only 51 pieces struck. Extremely fine or better, a few light marks.)"
