This specimen was lot 2868 in Sincona sale 51 (Zurich, October 2018), where it sold for 32,000 CHF (about US$38,599 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"3 Dukaten 1642. Titel von Wladislaus IV. Sehr selten. Sehr schön. Gewellt. (kingdom of Poland, city of Danzig, triple ducat of 1642, struck in the name of Wenceslaus IV. Very rare, Very fine, Wavy flan.)"
This type was struck 1634, 1640-42,, 1647 and is very rare.
