This specimen was lot 8118 in Ponterio sale 150 (Los Angeles, August 2009), where it sold for $977.50. The catalog description noted, "FRENCH ANTILLES. 5 Francs, ND (1964). P-7b. Showing the second signature, this note is the slightly more available of the two varieties, although this note is more challenging to locate than the more frequently encountered 10 Francs note of the same series. The note is absolutely flawless and is one of the nicest examples we have ever handled, showing bountiful embossing of the bordering overprints. UNCIRCULATED."
