This specimen was lot 142 in Ponterio sale 141 (New York, January 2009), where it sold for $1,092.50. The catalog description noted, "CUBA. Junta Central Republicana de Cuba y Puerto Rico. 10 Pesos, 17-8-1869. P-63. VERY GOOD."

This specimen was lot 8093 in Ponterio sale 150 (Los Angeles, August 2009), where it sold for $1,207.50. The catalog description noted, "CUBA. 3 Pesos, 1.12.1877. P-28. This bright note is in a lovely Very Fine grade and shows subtle circulation being mostly light vertical folds. The important reverse is very bright and shows the vignette of Columbus sighting land in clear detail. VERY FINE."

This specimen was lot 456 in Ponterio sale 145 (Chicago, April 2009), where it sold for $345. The catalog description noted, "CUBA. Banco Espanol de La Habana. 1 Peso, 31.5.1879. P-27e. An excellent early dated Cuban note with perforated edges and this bright original note illuminated the design. VERY FINE."
