This type, struck 1905 and 1910-14 at Philadelphia, is the only ten centimos issued between the introduction of the colon in 1897 and its first reform in 1917. It is common.

Recorded mintage: 270,000.

Specification: 2 g, .900 fine silver, .057 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
