This ten pesos was struck in Bogotá for Colombia, of a type issued 1989-94. A variety (KM 281.2) exists for 1993-94 with the reverse wreath spaced away from the rim. Inflation terminated the one centavo in 1978, the five centavos in 1979, the ten centavos in 1980, the fifty centavos in 1982 and the two pesos in 1988.

Recorded mintage: 60,000,000.

Specification: 3.3 g, copper-nickel-zinc, 18.75 mm diameter.
