This specimen was lot 3848 in Goldberg sale 74 (Los Angeles, June 2013), where it sold for $1,265 including buyer's fees. The catalog description[1] noted, "Colombia. 500 Pesos, 1971. 'Topless Indian Goddess' One year type issued for the 6th Pan-American Games in Cali. PCGS graded Proof 66." Nickel five pesos (KM 247), gold 100 pesos (KM 248), 200 pesos (KM 249), 300 pesos (KM 250) and 1500 pesos (KM 252) were also issued for this occasion.

Recorded mintage: 6,000.

Specification: 21.50 g, .900 fine gold, .622 troy oz AGW.
