This silver twenty centavos was struck for Colombia, of a type issued 1945-51. It is a conspicuous 1948/5 overdate, which is actually more common than the plain date. It replaced a previous type that was .900 fine silver.

Recorded mintage: 9,708,000 (for 1947-48).

Specification: 5 g, .500 fine silver, .080 troy oz ASW.
