This silver fifty centavos was struck in Philadelphia for Colombia in 1902 only during the civil war of 1899-1903. (The chaos of that civil war enabled the United States to engineer Panamanian independence.) It is scarcer than the catalog indicates.

Recorded mintage: 960,000.
