This specimen was lot 44429 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 10 Centavos, 1886. Medellin Mint. AU-50 (PCGS). Type with GRAM and 2 stars in reverse legend. Interesting variation not often seen in auction. Decent strike with full bold legends and gray toning, no problems. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck 1885-86 only and superseded the type of 1882-85 which was .835 fine.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce. Varieties exist.
