This specimen was lot 40312 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1872 Peso. Bogotá mint. AU-58 (PCGS). Medium yellow gold with good eye appeal. Radial die cracks are seen from the bust truncation and from the back of the head. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins. Ex. Mühlenkamp, December 1973." This type was struck at Bogotá in 1871-75 and 1878. Medellín also struck this type.

Specification: 1.61 g, .900 fine gold, .046 troy oz AGW.
