This specimen was lot 22410 in Stack's Bowers 2018 NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Peso, 1839-RS. Bogota Mint. NGC MS-62. Nicely toned with underlying luster." This type was struck 1837-46 at Bogotá and is common.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 1.69 g, .875 fine gold, .047 troy oz AGW.
