This specimen was part of lot 44092 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), which sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Lot of (2) 1/2 R, 1834-RS. Bogota Mint. AU Detail--Cleaned & VF Detail--Scratch (PCGS). 2 pieces in lot. 1834-RS (could be 4/3) PCGS AU Detail, sharp details and toned over old cleaning, and 1843-RS PCGS VF Detail, KM-96.1; Restrepo-177.9, most obverse details present. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck at Bogotá 1833-35. It was also issued by Popayan and is more common therefrom.
