This specimen was lot 44081 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $2,400. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1/4 Real, 1826-B TR. Bogota Mint. MS-64 (PCGS). Sharply struck and lustrous with light toning. A gem example of the type. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This is the only Colombian coin with initials TR; the common issue with assayer RS was struck 1826-29, 1833-36.
