This specimen was lot 40102 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1815-JF Escudo. Santa Fe de Nuevo Reino (Bogotá) mint. Ferdinand VII (1808-1833). VF-25 (PCGS). Light yellow gold with some deeper orange highlights at peripheries. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins. Ex. William F. Steinberg, February 1973." This type was struck in Bogotá 1808-20.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 3.38 g, .875 fine gold, .095 troy oz AGW.
