This specimen was lot 40098 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $1,560. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1813/2-JF Escudo. Popayán mint. Ferdinand VII (1808-1833). MS-62 (PCGS). Well centered and well struck, with strong luster on both sides and abundant reflectivity on the reverse. The overdate characteristics are easy to see under low magnification, and there is little keeping this from a still higher grade. A premium piece. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck in Popayán 1808-19.
