This specimen was lot 40097 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1813-JF Escudo. Santa Fe de Nuevo Reino (Bogotá) mint. Ferdinand VII (1808-1833). AU-55 (PCGS). Medium yellow gold with deep attractive toning, especially on the reverse. A natural depression is seen on the portrait, and the central reverse is somewhat softly struck. Lustrous and attractive. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins. Purchased in London in January 1968." This type was struck in Bogotá 1808-20.
