This specimen was lot 40093 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1811-JJ Escudo. Santa Fe de Nuevo Reino (Bogotá) mint. Ferdinand VII (1808-1833). UNC Detail — Cleaned (PCGS). Extremely well struck and remarkably sharp on both sides. Good luster persists on both sides, especially the reverse, though old hairlines are seen on the obverse. Some diagonal parallel adjustment marks are noted through the portrait. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins. Ex. Harmer Rooke in August 1975." This type was struck in Bogotá 1808-20. Popayán does not seem to have minted one escudos in 1811. Assayer JF is also known for this date.
