This specimen was lot 1763 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabruck, June 2015), where it sold for €6,500 (about US$8,397 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"COLMAR, STADT Taler 1554. Wappen, darüber Jahreszahl//Adler v. v. den Kopf nach l. gewandt. Von großer Seltenheit. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Colmar, thaler of 1554. Obverse: arms, date below; reverse: eagle, head to left. Extremely rare, very fine to extremely fine.)"
Davenport lists this type with eight different dates during 1542-54 and 1575 yet the type is rare. Colmar is now part of France.
