This specimen was lot 2010 in Goldberg sale 106 (Los Angeles, September 2018), where it sold for $750. The catalog description[1] noted, "China. 10 Yuan, 1985. Potala Palace. Choice Brilliant Proof." This NCLT honors the twentieth anniversary of the Autonomous Region of Tibet, which autonomy applies only to the immigrating Han Chinese, not the native Tibetans.

Recorded mintage: 3,000.
