This specimen was part of lot 31059 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), which sold for $411.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "George VI 7-Coin Mint Set 1952, KM 41-46, UNC - Choice UNC. An above-average set with many of the silver denominations having golden tone at the edges." Canadian ten cent pieces for George VI come in two varieties; KM 36 (with "IND IMP") was issued 1937-47 and KM 45 (without "IND IMP") for 1948-52. This date is common.

Recorded mintage: 2,596,465.

Specification: 11.66 g, .800 fine silver, .30 troy oz ASW, reeded edge, designed by T. H. Paget and G. E. Kruger-Gray.
