Canada 1930 25 cents
This specimen was lot 23463 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $1,410. The catalog description noted, "George V 25 Cents 1930, MS65 PCGS Belzberg, a superb example with a deep frost to the surfaces, most appealing and scarce this nice. From The Nikita Collection." The type was struck in sterling silver 1912-19 and in .800 fine silver 1920-36. The depression which set in after World War One caused mintages to drop. This date is readily available up thru Extremely Fine but scarce in choice condition.
