This specimen was lot 32623 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $705. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V 5 Cents 1919 MS66 ICCS. Very near pristine, with dazzling luster and only the faintest luster grazes that define the grade. Among the finest known for the date and as such, worthy of a strong bid." This type was struck at Ottowa 1912-19 and in .800 fine silver 1920-21 (KM 22a). This date is common.

Recorded mintage: 7,835,400.

Specification: 1.15 g, .925 fine silver, .035 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
