This specimen was lot 20635 in Heritage sale 3008 (New York, January 2010), where it sold for $1265. The catalog description[1] noted, "Edward VII 25 Cents 1907, MS64 PCGS. Fully brilliant with a hint of golden toning and a nice strike for the issue. A sparkling example, with pleasing eye-appeal." This type was struck 1902-1910 at the London and Heaton mints. This date is the highest mintage but not the lowest priced in the SCWC. All the dates are rare in high grade.

Recorded mintage: 2,088,000 (highest mintage date).

Specification: 5.81 g, .925 fine silver, .173 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
