This specimen was lot 70313 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $552. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 10 Cents, 1896. PCGS MS-63 Secure Holder. Obverse 6. Solid for the grade. Well struck, attractive and lustrous satiny surfaces with just a hint tone. A lovely example with a nice cartwheel effect." The type was struck in 1858 and 1870-1901.

Recorded mintage: 650,000, a common date.

Specification: 2.32 g, .925 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge.
