This specimen was lot 23395 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $1,468.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victoria 5 Cents 1890-H, MS65 ICCS, a superb piece with glowing mint brilliance and just a touch of russet toning in the legends. Very scarce in this elite quality and this coin has exceptional eye appeal. From The Nikita Collection." This date, the last Victoria five cents struck in Heaton, is a slightly better date but not rare.

Recorded mintage: 1,000,000.

Specification: 1.16 g, .925 fine silver, .034 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
