This specimen was lot 1096 in Jean Elsen sale 123 (Brussels, December 2014), where it sold for €750 (about US$1,090 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ALLEMAGNE, BRUNSWICK-WOLFENBÜTTEL, Heinrich Julius (1589-1613), AR Taler, 1597, Osterode. Droit: B. cuirassé à gauche, une tête de lion sur l'épaule, le col fraisé. Revers: Ecu sous trois heaumes. Provient de notre liste 244, avril juin 2008, 1007. Rare. Très Beau. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Henry Julius (1589-1613), silver thaler of 1597, Osterode mint. Obverse: armored bust to left with lion's head on the shoulder and a ruffed collar. Reverse: arms, three helmets above. From our list 244, April-June 2008, lot 1007. Rare, very fine.)"
